Exam details:

The Holcombe Grammar School test consists of: a Verbal Reasoning test, a Maths test and an English (extended writing) test

The Verbal reasoning and Maths tests are multiple choice and last 50 minutes each

The English test often takes the form of an essay and lasts 50 minutes, this includes 10 minutes of planning time
